Hi Yohaan,
Alex asked you to add your stairfile to the post. We always need it to check the stair design itself in order to provide you with an answer.
As you know, every situation is different and might be challenging when designing a staircase. Based on your question, I could deduce that you mostly rely on the 2D view when you design.
You always need to check your 3D visual in solid and wireframe in order to spot some possible anomalies.
We will further investigate your request when we have received your stairfile.

Michel

we joined our stairs when we installed and had to make modifications on site. this shouldnt happen as the program should be aware that as finished staircase it will have a gap showing the underside of the stairs. additionally we are lucky as we are doing double stringers for glass balustrading, so the double stringer will cover the gap. is there any possible way to maintain the offset on these stringers?

is there a way to maintain the positioning above nosing offset? i have attached an example stringer of a project i did and when installing ran into the issue that the risers were much too close to the stringer edge and when connected to the lower stringer it leaves the riser underneath exposed, is there a way to get around the issue or to maintain the offset distance even on a winder stringer?
