Please refer to the attached images.
This image refers to the direction of the cut (top to bottom)
This image refers to where you can set a stepover for your tooling
Let me know if you have anymore questions.

In the pocket toolpath select raster function instead of offset. This will start from bottom to top.

]]>we have a toolpath set up in vcarve but we want to change the direction of the path going from top to bottom on the bed
Can this be done?
attaching our file for you to look at
thanks Caroline
]]>When you oversizing par like this that just said how much you want add on parts for pre-cut to calibrate on CN (height / width /2 per edge),
In other words, it does not oversize parts to fit them when they are installed on your customers' premises, for example.
To oversizing panel you can edit shape manually, or add negative recess value

]]>im using 7:10k, I can see there there is an updated version-7:10u, ill install this one.
ill attach the project, its the end panels we've tried oversizing.
many thanks

]]>Can you upload your project and tell me which version you're using?
The tests carried out with the latest version did not show any anomalies.

]]>when oversizing panels(end panel and fillers etc) from the properties menu, we get it come through on the cut list as it should but doesn't go to the Cnc with the oversizing, is there a way of doing this so it does please?
many thanks

]]>For better management, I have move your topic to CNC and Other softwares,
You have line in twice or first layer for Overall pase panel AND Outline?
Some CAD/CAM Need both, with Vcarve only outline is need and you can disable overall base panel from PP setup
There are 2 ways of milling the 2 sides
-By milling/cutting the complete panel and then milling the 2 faces
-Or by turning the complete panel over
Did you read this page first? It explains most of the different processes.
>PolyBoard and OptiNest nested manufacturing with doubled sided machining and edge drilling
Cheers, Alex
]]>When i export from polyboard to v carve all my outside lines have came in twice.
Also how do i bring in double sided panels e.g. pocket front and back of doors
]]>Thanks for the reply. I got it.
]]>Your post has been moved to CNC and Other Software section
Kind regards, Alex
]]>Polyboard only does outlines shapes,
But you can write a "Macro" subroutine that does the pocket, then call the macro in Polyboard to apply it in Maestro.
Thanks, Alex
]]>When saving a cabinet with Post Processor for Xilog/Maestro. Im having some issues with cutting/milling circular holes.
When importing to Maestro it only imports the circle outline rather than the milling inside of the circle.
How do I set the Post Processor or Polyboard to Mill out the entire Circle rather than just the perimeter?
This is typically done with drawing multiple circles towards the center, or using Pocket Forming with Maestro.
